1) Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class begins. Class begins promptly on time. Classes always ends five to ten minutes to allow for the flow of outgoing and incoming students. Please leave the classroom quickly to allow the next speaker to have time for set-up. Please take all conversations outdoors or into The Gathering Place. Turn off your phone or put on vibrate, and if you must take the call, please be considerate and step outside the building.
2) Please fill out the guest registry for every class. This takes attendance.
3) Our facilities are Gluten Free. Do not bring in any gluten, even your own personal property. Crumbs matter.
Our facilities are Breastfeeding/Nursling friendly.
Mothers will be allowed to breastfeed in all classes.
Our facilities are barefoot friendly. Shoes are optional for everyone.
Gluten-free snacks and tea are provided for a fee. Cash only.
4) Child Care is NOT provided. A parent must purchase a
ticket for a child if that child takes a seat.
Lap Babies and a child who can sit and play/read very quietly on the floor by parent is OK.
Rambunctious and Noisy children would not be considerate or fair to everyone else.
5) When you buy your ticket, you sign a simple no-liability contract. We are not liable for anything.
6) Please treat your teacher with respect and caring. Your teacher worked hard to make this class possible. All classes also come with a handout (except exercise-type classes). Please ask questions respectfully - but please do ask questions! We are all learning here.
7) Both student and teacher feedback, praise, and complaints will all be taken seriously. People will be barred from participating if there is cause.
8) In children classes, our facility expects the parent to stay with the child and participate in the class. Please do not make a lot of noise by talking to other parents during class - the children are trying to concentrate and other parents are trying to participate! Please be considerate. Please have your phone on vibrate or turned off during class. If you step out, please do not be gone for more than five minutes.
9) Students and teachers are expected to act professionally and dress decently. Make the teacher take you seriously. This is a family-friendly facillity, so watch your language and your manners. Thank you for your cooperation!
